HDR is like a new motorcycle. How can you not fully open the throttle at least once, to see what she does? I expected some critique on my last entry, and I agree with it. Partly. I will keep on playing with my new toy, but tune it down at least for now. This is my kid Marvin, on my beach Barra da Tijuca. Barra means something like 'land strip between two waters' and if you look at Google Maps you'll understand why. The sun returned, so we had a refreshing dip before 9 a.m.

Pretty nice, looks almost painted and I have no problems with photos which don't look like photos anymore -- who's telling what photos should look like anyway? However, this is once more the best shot, three days in a row. Curious what you come up with tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteOh, this is wonderful, it looks so surrreal! Hdr but ony one exposure, right? otherwise how do get three shots of the boy in the air. It's a beauty!

wow those clouds look fantastic I'm really liking your hdr. I had a look at the google map and it doesn't look very wide through there at all. Great shot of Marvin playing on the beach. :)

Awesome pic. This is great and you even managed to shoot your son mid air whilst maintaining great framing. And then there are the clouds. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteSpeachless!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! The HDR has been used with subtlety to the point of perfection for overall great uniform exposure. Very nicely done! The sense of action and joy is palbable! Great job.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Love the caught in mid air. Clouds and ocean are also beautiful.
ReplyDeleteA triumphant picture. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI like the energy in this picture.
ReplyDeleteThis is really good, I love how you captured him in mid-air with the sand also suspended, I love the clean, muted colors, the surreal look of it... Impressive.
