Day 1: Recreio, Rio de Janeiro

I shot this late in the afternoon with a hammering hangover. This beach is about 8 km from my house, its full name is 'Praia de Recreio dos Bandeirantes'. The mountain in the background is Gávea, and should not be there because I flipped the photo horizontally. The date in the post says january 2, but that's because I switched to Blogger to enable commenting.

  1. I love the mood you have created here. The pastel pallette is very effective and the little figures frolicking in the surf really make it come alive. Lovely stuff :-)

  9. This is superb! The soft colours and light really make this an ethereal and dreamy place to want to be! I can see that your travel brochures and book will come together very well with these shots and this 30-day challenge is a wonderful opportunity to shoot for them with much feedback to keep you going! Keep at it!
