Rain and beaches don't go very well together, but as long as you stay in your car it's all good. This cowardly kite surfer walked the shore for so long that he eventually just walked right into my frame. This cowardly photog shot him from a distance, closed his window and smiled back home.

I first notice the sky and how dramatic it looks and then I notice the colour of the grass. A coward you may percieve yourself to be but also wise by the look of those clouds.

ReplyDeleteIt's not a bit cowardly to protect your camera from rain, my old one used to give me electric shocks if I tried to take pics in the rain.

I love this shot and if you were on the beach we would have missed the grass. Is this a HDR?

One more awesome shot -- those milestones or whatever that is in the foreground gives the whole thing the needed depth.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot and the bright green of the grass and his kite go well together. That ominous sky is great too. I do wish the path didn't lead out of the frame like that though. Go back and ask him to walk the other way and snap it just as he gets in line with the end of the pathway! It is good how the angle of the path and kit are opposite each other though. Makes for good balance. Well done.
